Formulatlas ("we", "us") provides regulatory screening, Safety Data Sheets, label reviews and an online workspace for formulated products at formulatlas.com. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the site and our services.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address and your company's email domain, used to sign you in and to count free Safety Data Sheets per company.
- Usage records: the number and type of SDSs, checks and orders on your account, and dates, so we can apply plan limits and give you support.
- Security data: a random device identifier stored in your browser, and a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, used only to prevent abuse of free allowances and sign-in codes. We don't store your IP address itself.
- Payment records: what you bought, amounts, tax, payment method type (card or bank) and status. Card and bank details are entered on Stripe's pages; we never see or store them.
- What you send us: messages, requests and the documents you choose to share with us.
Formulas and documents
- Free formula check: runs in your browser. The formula you enter is not sent to us.
- Free SDS: the composition you enter is sent to our server to build the SDS, then discarded. It is not stored.
- My Workspace: files, lists and requests you save are stored for you, encrypted, until you delete them. You control who can open your workspace, including whether Formulatlas can. Every visit by our team is shown in your workspace's activity log. We use workspace contents only to do work you ask for, and never reuse or share them with anyone else.
How we use information
To provide and bill for our services, send sign-in codes, confirmations and receipts, answer support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal and tax obligations. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run Formulatlas, each limited to its own task:
- Stripe: payments, receipts and sales tax calculation.
- Cloudflare: website hosting, our server and database.
- Resend: sending emails such as sign-in codes and confirmations.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How we protect it
All connections use HTTPS. Workspace files and lists are encrypted at rest. Sign-in is by one-time emailed code, sessions expire, and access to customer workspaces is limited to the customer's members and, only if the customer allows it, the Formulatlas team, with every access logged.
How long we keep it
Account and usage records are kept while your account is active. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Workspace contents are kept until you delete them, or until 30 days after you ask us to close your account.
Your choices
You can export or delete your workspace at any time. To see, correct or delete the other information we hold about you, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
Children
Formulatlas is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18.
